Keep your estimating software for estimates. Repair Status replaces the whiteboard and group texts with one live floor board for vehicles, parts, and who’s on the job. If you already live in a full production board inside your estimating system, you may not need us. CCC, Mitchell, and Audatex shops all fit.
Does Repair Status force me to use your payment processor?
No. You keep your own shop payment processor. Stripe is only for your Repair Status subscription.
How long does it take to learn?
Minutes for the basics — it's one board, not a 20-window system. Techs open it like a phone app on the floor.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Month to month — no annual lock-in.
Does it work on my phone?

Do you have a scheduling calendar?
Yes — the Scheduling Calendar is a live optional add-on ($49/mo). Schedule the whole shop's jobs (not just drop-offs), assign techs with colors, drag to reschedule, and send automatic text reminders (reminders by text need Automatic Customer Updates).
Who can use the Scheduling Calendar?
Admin and office staff. Techs keep working the job board; the calendar is for scheduling the whole shop's jobs and managing the day without another sticky-note system.
Is AI estimate scan an extra charge?
No. AI estimate scan is included in every base plan (Starter $49, Shop $99, Large Shops $149). It is not a paid add-on. Your estimate stays in your estimating software; the scan reads the paperwork into the job.
Do you support automatic customer updates?
Yes — Automatic Customer Updates is a $49/mo add-on (SMS + email). Messages go out automatically when job status moves, so customers stop calling "where's my car?" SMS requires customer opt-in (A2P).
Does parts email connect to CollisionLink or PartsTrader?
No. Parts stay organizational on each job — mark ordered, expected in, and arrived. When you're ready, email the supplier from the job with in-app email. The board does not pull status from the supplier automatically, and it is not CollisionLink or PartsTrader.
What about migrating from sticky notes / spreadsheets?
Start with open jobs on the board. You don't need a big cutover — run today's jobs on Repair Status and leave the old pile behind as cars deliver.
